The Birkdale Clinic has been treating very large number of NHS patients across the North West, Yorkshire and Midlands since 1993.In 2003 the Birkdale Clinic was declared a provider by the Department of Health in the first phase of the Growing Capacity Initiative. We are proud to be UK’s first ISTC (Independent Sector Diagnosis and Treatment Centre) to go live on 1st October 2003 at Daventry, Northampton.

• GP communication - by telephone / fax in urgent cases / within 5 working days in routine cases

• Copy letter sent to patients who agree to it.

• Every patient given complaints procedure leaflet

• Patient satisfaction survey carried out by questionnaire
